He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Emelander; his son-in-law Philip Strick; and his great grandchild Kyle Strick. He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Strick, Barbara VanderMarkt (Gary), Cathryn Merritt (Gary) and Sue Vos (Jeff); his siblings, Helen Emelander, Stanley Emelander (Gail) and Gertrude Emelander; and his mothers-in-law, Dorothy VanNoord (Roland), Julia Wabeke and Carol Kramer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and their spouses.
