He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Oldfield; and his parents, Clyde Oldfield and Mary Oldfield. He is survived by: his children, Pattilyn, Ronald McCarty, Barney Oldfield II (Brenda Alberta), Pam and Jack Cronkright; and his grandchildren, Megan (Micah Colon), Emily (Jason Dawes), Paul (Crissey McCarty), Beau (Jennifer Oldfield), Casey (Alesha Cronkright) and Lucas (Jessica Cronkright). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
