She is survived by: her husband Leonard Somers; her children, Kim, Joel Van Wyngarden, Len, Marsha Somers, Jeff and Jennifer Somers; her grandchildren, Katie, Dan Meengs, Josh, Ingrid Van Wyngarden, Andrew Van Wyngarden, Eric, Lauren Somers, Seth, Hannah Somers, Michaela Somers, Kyle, Lindy Somers, Madie Somers, Tyler, Emily Somers and Alaina Somers; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Raelyn, Matteo, Henry and Malachi; her siblings, Mary Longstreet, Theron, Ruth Van Putten and Sheryle Van Putten; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Somers and Judy Somers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church (3617 Hillcrest Rd, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
