It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Merlin Wike of Hudsonville, Michigan, born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Wike. He is survived by: his mother Verna Wike (Hostetter); his wife Nancy; his children, Kellie (Jon Laskowski), Andrea (Derek Johnston) and Jared (Sarah Wike); and his brother Franklin Jr. (Ruthanne Wike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
From the onset of his Alzheimer's diagnosis he handled it so valiantly, although not without the usual problems of the disease, but the last three years, God blessed him with a sweet and kind and cooperative spirit and he fought to the end.
