He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Thorsen and Ellen Thorsen. He is survived by: his wife Rev. Janice Thorsen; his children, Eric Thorsen Jr. (Mandira), Andrea Thorsen and Jennifer Thorsen (Steven Spezza); his grandchildren, Aaliyah Thorsen and Sebastian Spezza; and his sister Jayne Jacobsen (Randall).
