He is survived by: his wife Kayla Vredeveld; his daughters, Ava and Alli; his parents, Lon and Kris; his siblings, Jill, Nathan Wiechel, Shawn and Christopher Yepsen; his grandmother Burnetta Vredeveld; his parents-in-law, Jeff and Mary Howard; his sister Kellie; his brother-in-law Lewis Botsford; and his grandparents-in-law, Ron, Kay Howard and Marilyn Dooge. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to John Ball Zoo.
