He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Howard Mack and Dorothy Mack (Zenz); his stepmother Lodema Kunz; and his siblings, Corinne Buff, Howard J. "Bro" Mack, Leann Schwab, Mary Ann Schafer, Sharon Lane and Richard "Adlai" Mack.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanine; his children, Brian Mack (Tanya), Katie Deming (Chris), Jessica McCarty, Lauren Thorington (Rob) and Jordan Mack (Brittni); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Gabriella, Addison, Cameron, Kyle, Bennett, Liam, Mia, Quinn, Carter and Adalee; his siblings, Marlene Lantow, Suzanne Butler (Merlin "Joe") and Gregory Mack (Dianne); and his siblings-in-law, Eckel Lane, William Soeters (Lisa) and Robert Soeters (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
