George VanderLeest Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George VanderLeest of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph VanderLeest and Tressie VanderLeest; his former wife Patricia VanderLeest; his grandchildren, Randy Tinkham and Tara; his great grandchild Isabella; and his brother Don VanderLeest.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Cookie" VanderLeest; his children, Duncan VanderLeest, George A. VanderLeest, Linda Williams (Jim), Pamela Aten (Warren) and Mike Bruins (Beth); his son-in-law John Warner; and his siblings, Patsy Hren, Darlene Bigcraft and Leon VanderLeest (Sandy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lighthouse Community Church (7624 Lake Michigan Dr, Allendale, MI 49401). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
