It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Nederveld of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Nederveld and Rose Nederveld; his siblings, Ron Nederveld and Eleanor; his brother-in-law Rickus Mulder; his brother Gary Nederveld; and his brother-in-law Herb Nienhuis.

He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Matt, Stacey Nederveld, Sarah and Brian Giere; his grandchildren, Luke, Taylor Nederveld, Hannah, Ellie, Sam, Nolan and Nathan Giere; and his siblings-in-law, Sadie Nederveld, Kathy Nederveld, Dale, Betty Cook and Joyce Nienhuis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Camp Geneva, Holland, MI.

“Dear Family of Gord, We don’t know each other but I played pickleball with Gord and just wanted to express my deepest sympathies for your loss! I think it wouldn’t be too much of an exaggeration to say we ALL loved him on the courts and will miss him too! He was quick to smile, tease and encourage. I won’t easily forget when a good shot was received and he was unable to return it he’d say, “that was OUT!…standing!” I thank God that one day we will meet again…outstanding!!! Nancy Anderson”
