Harold VanDuyn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold VanDuyn (Hudsonville, Michigan), born in Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon VanDuyn and Hermina VanDuyn; his parents-in-law, Harold and Barbara VandeVelde; his sister Delores VanHeuvelen; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Flier, David Sturgis, Clarence VanHeuvelen and Lynn VanDuyn.
He is survived by: his wife Susan VanDuyn (VandeVelde); his children, Kevin VanDuyn (Kim) and Amy Kornoelje (Ed); his grandchildren, Taylor VanDuyn, Peyton Reams (Colin), Trevor VanDuyn (Kaylee), Kylie VanDuyn, McKenna VanDuyn, Charles Kornoelje (Haley) and Sadie Kornoelje; his great grandchildren, Raylee, Joanie Reams and Cora VanDuyn; his siblings, Marcella Flier, Lloyd VanDuyn (Karen), Paul VanDuyn and Dorothy Sturgis; his brothers-in-law, Gary and Ray VandeVelde; and his nieces and nephews, Skyler, Jacob and Heather VandeVelde. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fair Haven Church (2900 Baldwin St, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
