He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve "Gen" Walters; his son Ronald Walters (Sharon Walters); his son-in-law Philip Stegenga; his granddaughter Sarah Walters; his great grandchild Madelyn Walters; his siblings, Dennis Walters (Harriet), Floyd Walters (Joyce), Henry Walters and Jean Avink (Lester); and his in-laws, Wallace Hamberg, Ken Busscher and Rose Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Stegenga, Dick Walters, Robert (Jackie Walters), Tom Walters, Doug (Lisa Walters), Steve (Amy Walters), Garry (Mary Walters) and Mike (Jenny Walters); his siblings, Jason (Barb Walters) and Wilma Busscher; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hamberg and Connie Walters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
