She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Zeman and Apolonia Zeman; her husband Edward Emelander; her siblings, Ted, Caz, Hank Zeman, Irene Kicz and Alice Farmer; and her children-in-law, Steve Rich and Lisa Emelander.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Rich, Mike (Sue Emelander), Dan (Sharon Emelander) and Jeff Emelander; and her grandchildren, Kelly Rich, Erica Emelander, Alecia, Nick Weih, Tina, Brian Bonzheim, Rob, April Emelander, Justin, Meghan Emelander, Josh, Maddie Emelander, Jessica, Ben Avery, Lauren Emalander and Caitlin Emelander. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the VanderLaan Funeral Home (4917 32nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
