He is survived by: his children, Laurene V. Stetson, Amy L. Engwall, Herman A. Colegrove II, Shirley J. Nichols, Karen F. Colegrove and Irene Rhoede. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; many nieces and nephews.
