Karren De Young Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Karren De Young of Hudsonville, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karren De Young to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lems and Jeanette Lems (Kuiper); her sister Corynna Boer; and her in-laws, Nort Brower, Barb, Joe Stuive, Deb Roedema and Jim Carlon.

She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Shelly, Brent, Barb De Young, Jeff and Sandy De Young; her granddaughter Hope Looyenga (Drew); her great grandchildren, Charleigh, Beckham, Mila, Jaxton, Dutton, Rush, Graham and Luca; her sister Jane Brower; and her in-laws, Henry Boer, Pat Carlon, Chuck and Mary Roedema. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church (7146 48th Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Christian School.
