He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Kapenga. He is survived by: his nephews, Douglas Dipple and Chuck Christensen; his children, Tracy Kapenga, Tim Adams, Tom and Tricia Kapenga; his grandchildren, Seth Brower, Haley, Stephen Pake, Jasmine Kapenga, Malachi Kapenga and Jordyn Kapenga; his great grandchildren, Haven Pake and Jasper Pake; his sisters, Marlene (Tom St. John), Audrey Logan and Sally Kapenga; and his in-laws, Wayne, Terri DeVault, Lauren and Mark James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hudsonville Education Foundation or Corewell Health Hospice.
