She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Hirdes and Johanna Hirdes (Boersema); her husband Jacob Rietman; her former husband Floyd Zoerman; her daughter Barb Weaver; her brothers, Ken Hirdes, Russ Hirdes and Loren Hirdes; and her parents-in-law, John, Jean Haveman, Louis Brower, Henrietta, Jim Schippers, Peter and Shirley Rietman.
She is survived by: her children, Connie (Dale Brink), Vicky (Gary Gruppen), Lori Geerts and John Rietman; her son-in-law Chuck Weaver; her sister Shirley Bordewyk; her parents-in-law, Karen Hirdes, Mary Brower, Alma and Art Bouwkamp; and her stepchildren, Andy, Jane Zoerman, Tim, Judy Zoerman, Kevin Zoerman, Kalvin Zoerman, Cindy and Bill Morris. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.
