With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda M. Smit of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Smit. She is survived by: her children, Kendra Zondervan (Jon) and Ian Bartz; her grandchildren, Ava, Adalyn and Aarik Zondervan; her mother Mary Smit; her siblings, Marian Chertos (Nick), Sandra VanderLaan (Paul), Joyce Zimmer (Larry) and Jack Smit; and her son Eric Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Linda's honor.
