Lois leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lois’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lois will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy LaHuis and Hattie LaHuis; and her siblings, Fred LaHuis, Mary Sikkema and Jean Curtis.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth VanOss; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Schut and Donna Schut.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Reformed Church (6610 36th Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
In lieu of fresh flowers that she loved so much, Mom's request was that donations in her memory be made to the American Diabetes Association.
