She is survived by: her children, Brent (Becky Buning), Bobbi Buning-Jeltema, Jordan (Susan Buning) and Kristin (Joe Ponstein); her grandchildren, Chad, Tessa Buning, Carley, Josh Mazure, Cassandra, Lilly, Sam Jangala, Benjamin Jeltema, Maddie, Connor Wait, Grayson Buning, Landon Buning, Morgan Buning, Ashleigh Ponstein, Trent Ponstein and Gavin Ponstein; her siblings, Mary, Larry Buning and Donna VanHaren; and her siblings-in-law, Dotty Burkett, Doug Buning, Greg and Sarge Buning. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a Christian school of one's choosing, Faith Hospice, or to The Special Friends group at Georgetown CRC.
