He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Buer and Marian Buer; his granddaughter Cara Buer; his siblings, Marilyn Knoper and Norman; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Buer and Sharon Buer (Phil).
He is survived by: his wife Sara "Joan" Buer; and his children, Steve, Terri Buer, Joe, Wendy Buer, Lynn and Stephon "Spike" Baird. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three siblings and their spouses; and many loving nieces and nephews.
