She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daryl Hoek and Diane Vanden Hoek; her brother Dale Vanden Hoek; her parents-in-law, Craig and Pat Apel; and her siblings-in-law, Trish Apel, Chip and Rebecca Schafran.
