He is survived by: his fiancée Margaret; the mother of his children Paula; his children, Travis Hanges (Lindsey), Kyle Hanges, Jordan Hanges (Amanda) and Brooke Oosterhouse (Joel); his brother James Constantine; his sister-in-law Neila Hanges; his aunt Patricia Rigler; his grandsons, Skyler Hanges and Brady Hanges; and his nieces, Kara, Katie and Constance.

Donations in his honor should be directed to the American Cancer Society.
