We bid farewell to Wanda Jean Luurtsema of Hudsonville, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2025 at the age of 76. Wanda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Geraldine Vruggink; and her in-laws, Henry and Stella Luurtsema. She is survived by: her siblings, Jay, Jon, Karen, Vonnie, Steve and Paul Vruggink; her husband John William Luurtsema (Bill); her children, Dean Luurtsema (Amanda), Leigh Ann Arnold, David Luurtsema (Amy) and Aimee Luurtsema; her grandchildren, Eliot Luurtsema, Elyannah Luurtsema, Simkah Luurtsema, Rebekah Luurtsema, Bailey Ver Hage (Chris), Taylor Arnold, Lindyn Arnold, Treyton Arnold, Mackenzie Luurtsema, Ainsley Luurtsema, William Luurtsema and Henry Luurtsema; and her great grandchildren, Brooks and Denver Ver Hage.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the VanderLaan Funeral Home (4917 32nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Pointe Church (3350 Baldwin St, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Run Ministries or Focus on the Family.
