Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Schuur and Frances Schuur; and his siblings, Gaylord Schuur, Gary, Pat Schuur and Donna Schuur Whitcomb.

He is survived by: his wife Corinne; his children, Matt, Amber Wansten, Jonathan and Kristin Howarth; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Schuur, David Musser and Bob Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.

“I met Wayne at the assisted living facility where my brother also lives. He was such a nice gentleman and always so helpful to my brother. When my brother forgot how to make calls on his phone, Wayne would always help him make that call. I spoke with him quite a few times when he was helping my brother. He was always the encourager at the facility getting people to get to the activities, meals etc. He is missed at the living facility! My sincere condolences to the family!”
