It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marquita Shalanda Davis of Idlewild, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Farina and Eddie Davis; her uncles, Billy Davis and Bernie Davis; and her grandfather George Webb.
She is survived by: her parents, Elizabeth Prebble and Stephan Davis; her husband Anthony Ivey; her children, Shekinah Davis, Zuri Davis, Loren Ivey and Zion Ivey; her stepson Anthony Ivey Jr.; her siblings, Christina Davis (Robert Davis) and Stephan Davis; her grandmother Phyllis Prebble; her aunts, Catherine Bryant, Bonita Jones and Ola Mae Webb; her siblings' children, Alexandria Gray, Sanaa, Kazyah, Camilla Davis, Jaquan, Omaree, Jaiden and JC Davis; and her cousins, Adam, Aaron, Christopher, Ariana Ford, Dwinetta Loren Webb, Karlito, Kingston McKinney, Pierce Webb Jr., Pierre Webb, Cornell Davis, Chiana, Charlie and Isabella Smith. She is also survived by her family and was a second mother to her nieces and nephews.
