It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricardo Escamilla of Idlewild, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Escamilla and Jesusita Escamilla; his sister Elena; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Kelley and Ramah Shearer.
He is survived by: his children, Jose of Kalamazoo, Louren of San Diego, CA and Carlos of Kalamazoo; his siblings, Victoria Kelley of Three Rivers, Maria Lydia Ali (Muhammed) of Portage, Esequiel Escamilla of Kalamazoo, Jose Escamilla Jr. of Benton Harbor, Estella Shearer of Vicksburg, Adalia Martin (Dan) of Schoolcraft, Teresa Ruelas (Rudy) of Traverse City, Jesus Escamilla, Alejandro Escamilla of Chicago, IL and Adolfo Escamilla (Marie) of Portage; and his former wife Deb Bauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
