We announce the death of Gary Ferris of Imlay City, Michigan, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 68. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Ferris and Georgia Ferris (Wynee). He is survived by: his wife Rosa Ferris of Imlay City; his children, Torri Volmering (Tom) of Ruth, MI and Joel Ferris (Laurie) of North Branch, MI; his stepsons, Matthew Olson, Joseph Olson and Michael Olson; his siblings, Kathy Puchlak (Mike) of Croswell, MI, Rick Ferris (Sue) of Albion, MI and Dan Ferris (Denise) of Peck, MI; and his grandchildren, Cameron Ferris, Lucas Volmering, Anna Volmering, Molly Volmering, Adelyn Ferris, Whitney Ferris and Brendan Ferris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Muir Funeral Home (2650 S Van Dyke Rd, Imlay City, MI 48444). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made according to the family's wishes.
