Joseph Allen Goddard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Allen Goddard of Indian River, Michigan, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi Goddard (Davis) and William Franklin Lloyd Goddard; and his siblings, Phyllis Curtis (Van Wormer), Diana Dunbar, Lloyd Jr., Walter, Philip, Garry and Claude Goddard.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Tippett of Indian River; his son Scott Goddard (April) of Montague; his great grandchild Scott Goddard (Amy); his children, Colton, Reagan of Holland and Mallorie Kragt (Adam); his grandchildren, Delaynee and Alexandria of Holland; his child Lynsae Kammeraad (Cody); his grandchild Cohen of Hudsonville; his child Bailey Wilson (Harvey Greenbey); his grandchildren, Adecyn, Brooklyn of Fennville and Chasta Meeusen; his son Tyler (Shauna Champion) of Muskegon; and his sisters-in-law, Suzie Pavick of Lansing and Barbara Goddard of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indian River Baptist Church (6214 Hemlock St, Indian River, MI 49749). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
