He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sager and Helen Sager (Lincoln); his wife Delores Sager; his son John Sager; his grandson Kevin Sager; his son-in-law Mark Ryan; and his sister Nancy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Gale Konkel (Tom) of Indian River, Lynn Cowles (Dennis) of Indian River, Jill Sager of Indian River, James Sager (Janice) of Alma and Tommy Sager (Suzy) of Sterling Heights. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Compassus Hospice Care in Gaylord, Michigan.
