He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bescoe and Lorraine Samulski; and his siblings, Robert Bescoe and Juanita Sayig. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Bescoe; his children, Matthew Bescoe (Erin), Bradley Bescoe (Carrie), Kristen Tatro (Nick), Thomas DeWitt and Tracy Baker (Jason); his grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew, Kayli Baker, Tyler, Stephen DeWitt, Grace, Tom, Lincoln Bescoe, Ryan, Alyssa Bescoe, Logan, Emma and Charlotte Tatro; his siblings, Rick Bescoe (Kathy), Dale Bescoe, Tammy O'Donnell (Dennis), Bridgette Nicodemos (Tom), Lori Silverthorn (Duane) and John Bescoe; and his mother-in-law Nancy Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of William should consider donations to Living Water GMC Church in Indian River, Karmanos Cancer Center of Petoskey, BAMF Health Center in Grand Rapids, or McLaren Northern Michigan of Petoskey.

“I am devasted to hear of Bill's passing! Bill was my CLOSEST CHILDHOOD FRIEND! There were three of us growing up in Redford Twp., MI that hung out from grade school through high school-we were like the 3 Musketeers-Cliff Morse, Bill, and me-Bill Griffin (they called me Griff-to differentiate between the 2 Bills). I lost touch with Bill despite multiple efforts to reach him while I was in the military. I am so happy to read that he appeared to have good friends and a good family! He was the BEST”
