Charles Mendrea Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Mendrea (Interlochen, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mendrea and Blanche Mendrea (Vanderwill); his sister Jean Baumgartner; and his brother-in-law Don Bock. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his siblings, Dave Mendrea (Jeanne) and Carol Kuehnl (Mike); his brother-in-law Bill Baumgartner; his nephew Jonathan Mendrea (Kim); his niece Kimberly Sattler (Doug); his grandchildren, Stephanie Averill (Tyler), Tristin Sattler (Claira), Travis Sattler, Steve Sattler and Beth LaCross; and his great grandchildren, Kaycee Sattler, Alexis Sattler, Gabrielle LaCross and Damian LaCross. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
