He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Giddis and Edna Giddis; and his brother Dick Giddis. He is survived by: his wife Joan Phillips; his children, Kathy Giddis, Dannie Joe Giddis, Jr., Mike Giddis (Stacey) and Joe Giddis (Jenne); his grandchildren, Dannie Joe III, Samantha, Lindsey, Rachel, Michael, Jake, Sawyer, Jacob, Wade, Austin, Sam and Keegan; his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Saylor, Dallis, Dannie Joe IV and Ravenna; his siblings, Kirt, Karen and Dale Giddis; and his pets, Louis and Lila. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Inland Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated by Dannie's family.
