He was predeceased by: his parents, David Chapman and Barbara Grow Chapman (Grow). He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Chapman (Horton); his children, David Chapman and Elizabeth Chapman (Margaret); his pet Ruby; and his siblings, Nancy Chapman Adams and Michael Chapman (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (8190 Lincoln Rd, Beulah, MI 49617). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (8190 Lincoln Rd, Beulah, MI 49617).
