She was predeceased by : her parents, James Poole and Katie Poole; her former life partner Jack Bales; and her parents-in-law, Irene and Howard Bales.

She is survived by : her husband Pete Ludwick; her daughter Becca Bales-Usher; her grandchildren, Caitie and Carl Usher; her siblings, Carolee Macfarlane (Jeff), James Poole (Fran), Gail Lower (Dan) and Rick Poole (Kim); and her stepchildren, Kim Thelen (Tom), Kay Thelen, Kevin Ludwick and Kelly Ludwick. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
