He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Norman and Doris Butler (Reed); his sister Connie Smith; and his grandmother Frances Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda LyVere of Ionia; his children, Korenn Butler of Chesterfield, MI, Josh Champlin of Ionia, Lindsay Dryer (Nikki) of Ionia, Kara Butler (Jimmy) of Sterling Heights, Emma Butler of Roseville and Matthew Butler of Ionia; his grandchildren, Kearstin Ervin and Braylon Butler; and his sister Lisa Dood (Lindsay) of Traverse City.
