We announce the death of Frances B. Thomas of Ionia, Michigan, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Moore and Eva Moore (Sena); her husband Levi Thomas of Ionia; her daughter Cynthia Acosta; her son-in-law Doran Jaffas; and her siblings, Richard Moore, Glen Moore Jr., Emil Moore and May Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy, Rose Jaffas of Lowell, Julie Thomas of Ionia and Sandra Hale (Christopher) of Orleans; her grandchildren, Clark Fox, Renee Sidebotham, Mary Fox, Francisca Acosta, Cassandra Acosta, Ashley Fisher, Jessica Doty, Shauna Dennie, Andrew Thomas and Denver Hale; her sisters, Sherrie Millious (Ann) of Battle Creek and Eva Dunn of Belding; and her niece Debbie Fulford of Battle Creek.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 667 Union St, Ionia, MI 48846.
