He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Bertha Ingrid Rantanen and Felix (Phil) Fred Kobera Sr.; wife: Mary (Swank) Kobera; children: Amanda (Ron) Kelly, Fred (Rhonda) Kobera III, Brandi (Johnny) Anderson, Angel (Derrick) Tyler; former wife/mother of his children: Sharon Kobera; stepchildren: Terry (Lisa) Swank and Randy Swank; sisters: Pat Hawkinson, Bonnie Cravens, Lori (Al) Hancock, Sandy Evans, Marcie Chingman, and Linda (Michele) LaCombe; brother: Tim Kobera; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Funeral Home (3521 S State Rd, Ionia, MI 48846).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moose Lodge of Ionia.
