He was predeceased by: his brother Rick; and his parents, Carolyn and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughter Monica Mabe (Jeremy); his granddaughters, Lilly, Charlie and Evie; and his siblings, Joe Scholtens (Pam), Brenda DeHollander (Bob) and Dan Scholtens (Jackie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Homes-Ionia (220 Rich St, Ionia, MI 48875). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (434 High St, Ionia, MI 48846).
