She was predeceased by: her parents, Duward Strong and Helen Strong (Beard); and her son Daniel Lynn Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Carl Simmons; her daughters, Rebecca Cannan (Rick) and Katrina Marie Simmons; her daughter-in-law Dawn Simmons; her grandchildren, Danille Burke Simmons and Shelby Simmons; her siblings, Dallas Strong (Lynne), Sheryl Willerick (Mark), Gloria Truax (Perin) and Joy Christopher (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Hotchkiss (Simmons), Keith Simmons (Sharon) and Carolyn Westmoreland (Jack). She is also survived by Step-son, Step-daughter and Step-great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
