The family announces the passing of Shannon R. Lopez of Ionia, Michigan on October 9, 2026. Shannon, born on December 7, 1993 in Jackson, Michigan, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Lopez-Schnicke of Ionia; her children, Cristiano, Anastacio, Sergio, Nico, Ignacia and Luciana; her parents, Terasa Trebian and Brent Trebian of Ionia; her brother Michael Ferris; her parents-in-law, Juan and Melissa Lopez; her grandparents, Doug and Norrine Lane of Six Lakes; and her grandparents-in-law, Dale, Deb Schnicke of Crystal and Mamie Schnicke of Orleans. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Steele Street Hall (115 S Steele St, Ionia, MI 48846).
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to consider making a contribution toward the future needs of Shannon's six beloved children (donations can be directed to Stephen).
