She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Paul Michael and Katherine (Garinger) Michael; husband: Kenneth North; daughters: Corey (Tim) Nurenberg and Kendra (Jack) Proctor; grandchildren: Garrett, Brenna, Noah, and Grady; sister: Sandra (James) Vale; brother: Robert (Joann) Michael; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lehman Funeral Homes (220 Rich St, Ionia, MI 48846). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (334 Center St, Ionia, MI 48846).

Memorial contributions may be made to Just Like Home or Saints Peter and Paul Parish in honor of Sherry.
