He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Viens and Albina Viens (Goulette) of Kingsford's Ford Addition; his sister-in-law Patricia Jauquet; his nephew Bill Counter; and his close friends, Rex Terwilliger and Roger LeDuc.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sister Kathleen Counter (Bill); his brothers-in-law, Charles Gyselinck (Nancy) and Herb Jauquet; his nieces and nephews, Jim Counter, Mike Counter, Brian Gyselinck, Scott Jauquet, Craig Jauquet, Laurie Counter, Lisa Counter and Wendy Pearman; and his friends, Mike, Nicole Lutz, Sue LeDuc, Mary Jo Momont, Lisa, Peggy Sue, Julie, Patrice, Trisha and Lynn.
