He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schultz and Alice Schultz (LaPointe); and his siblings, Dorothy Dorfler (Joe), Bob Schultz and Bev LaCost (Ron).

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ron LaCost; his wife Charlene Schultz of Aurora; his children, Steve Schultz (Mary), Paul Schultz (Lisa), Allen Schultz (Kristel) and Terra Maynard (Tom); his grandchildren, Mark, Greg (Gina), Natalie Schultz, Andrea Welch (Cole), Matthew, Erick, Darius Schultz (Emmy), Arryonna and Thomas Maynard; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Lenora, Charles Welch and Liam Schultz; his sister Carol Wilson; and his sister-in-law Rose Schultz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to benefit a local Veteran's service or organization.
