In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dorothe had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Dorothe may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Paige and Dorothe Paige (Jordon); her son Brian Scott Maynard; and her sisters, Barbara Steaven and Ruthie Kramer.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Sleik of Iron Mountain; and her children, Robert Maynard (Becky) of Manistique Mich, Rodney Maynard (Marcy) of Gladstone, Jeff Maynard (Selina) of Summerfield, Mark Sleik (Amy) of Kingsford, Dave Sleik (Sandy) of Iron Mountain, Holly Maynard of Crystal Falls, Wendy Sleik (Dino) of Iron Mountain and Sherry Huettl (Brooke) of Iron Mountain, Mich.. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
