He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Wender and Mary Wender (Switzer); his son Duane Wender; his grandson Ryan Ellis; and his siblings, Evelyn Bilski, Moni, Simon, Ernest, Edward, John, Joseph and Francis Wender.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Wender; his son Don Wender of Iron Mountain; his stepson Brad Welko (Lisa) of Appleton; his grandchildren, Amber Meise (Joe), Shawn Ellis, Ben Welko (Cece) and Katie Welko; his great grandchildren, Tony, Raven Wender, Nathan Cotterman and Macala Graham (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Wender and Mary Wender. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
