She was predeceased by: her parents, Evald Chartre and Mary Chartre (Sculati); her stepfather Harold Chartre; her husband Jim; her brother Gilbert Stohl; her son-in-law Steve Wedger; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Swanson, Roger Rochon, Vera Swanson and Carolee Stohl.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Swanson (Carrie), Paula Wedger, Jean Meyer (Dale) and Nancy Ekvall (Doug); her grandchildren, Mike Meyer, Ben Swanson (Jacquelyn), Jacob Swanson (Kala), Ashley Wedger, Zachary and Lauren Ekvall; her great grandchildren, Emily and Lucas Swanson; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Swanson (Darlene) and Lois Rochon. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home (901 Carpenter Ave, Iron Mountain, MI 49801). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (500 Blaine St, Iron Mountain, MI 49801).
