She was predeceased by : her parents, John Steger and Evelyn Steger (Hansen); her husband David Bash; her son John Childers; her former life partner Jerrold Yott; and her sister Janet Dolatowski.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Yott (Trent Pounders), Joe Yott (Lisa Schuls), Jeanette Yott, Guy Yott, David Bash (Elizabeth) and Matt Childers (Sabre Comeaux); and her siblings, Phil Steger (Flora), Nancy Steger and Rob Steger. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
