Robert A. Opsahl Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Opsahl of Iron Mountain, Michigan, born in Channing, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Opsahl and Ethel Opsahl (Fraley); his daughter Lisa Mack; his siblings, Helen Antes and Sonny Opsahl; his niece Sonja; his wife Phyllis Opsahl; and his stepson Nick Vicenzi.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Kranz (Aaron), Gregg Opsahl (Linda), Tom Opsahl (Gail) and Rick Opsahl (Audra); his son-in-law Joe Mitchell; his stepchildren, Pete Vicenzi and Tina Beaudoin (Dave); and his brother Jim Opsahl. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Buddy may be made to the Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50.
