It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven J. Fries of Iron Mountain, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Fries and Mary Ellen Fries (Blue); his wife Lori Ashenbrenner; and his brother Mike Fries. He is survived by : his children, Christian Fries of Iron Mountain, Gracie and Shannon Oman (Kurt) of Florence; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Jordan, Amber, Kale, Katelyn, Sierra and Shelby; his daughter Jennifer Corsi (Rob) of Iron Mountain; his grandchildren, Sydney, Brendan and Kyley; his sister Carol Holman; his niece Rachel; his sister Sue Fries; his brother-in-law Edward Ashenbrenner (Darla); and his nieces and nephews, Travis, Bryan and Tari Jo. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
