She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tokoly and Nellie Tokoly; her husband Lloyd J. Varda; and her great grandchild Baby Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Lucinda Hokanson (David) of Austin, Bruce Varda (Sue) of Florence and Nannette Mazich (Ken) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Alexis Hokanson, Andrianna Starling (Lee), Vanessa Taylor (Troy), Valarie Andes (Tom), Nicholas Varda (Kathy), Sofia Mazich and Joseph Mazich; her great grandchildren, Giancarlo Hokanson, Vivan, Tabatha, Tristin, Taylor, Jacob, Alex, Will Andes, Henry, Abe, Findlay, Hazel Varda, Thor and Storm Starling; and her siblings, Kathryn Kumkoski and Chester Tokoly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home (901 Carpenter Ave, Iron Mountain, MI 49801). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the American Martyrs Catholic Church (908 W Sagola Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802).
